4.Check NV Memory Fragmentation
5.Defragment NV Memory
At the Self Test Menu screen, press
the 5 key for Peel-Off Test. The
scale will then display the Printer
Peel-Off Test screen.
If you lay flat a piece of paper on
the left side of the Peel Bar, you
will see the UNBLOCKED status
change to BLOCKED. Once you remove the paper, you will see the status return to UNBLOCKED. If you
do not experience that behavior, run the Gap/Peel calibration and test again. If the problem persists,
you may need to change the Peel Sensor Assembly.
12.7 NV Memory Size
This will display the amount of used and available memory

12.8 NV Memory Test
At the Self Test Menu screen, press
the 6 key for NV Memory Test.
The following screen appears
Options 1-3 are self checks and
will simply return a value and go
back to the Flash Memory Test
screen. There is no need to
check these values, as they are
checked during power on.
Check NV Memory Fragmentation- This will give you the amount of free memory and how much of it is
fragmented. This value will be displayed and then will return to the Flash Memory Test screen.
Defragment NV Memory- This will clean up disk space by removing incomplete file fragments from the
hard drive on the scale. This should be done every few months as a precaution, but only must be done
when a defragment error occurs.
